Summer highlights from Bangladesh
This summer some of our sponsors have received updates from the women’s groups they are supporting in Bangladesh. We are excited to see how these groups are getting on so thought you would appreciate seeing some of their highlights.
From learning about personal hygiene and first aid to exploring the damaging consequences of child marriages, group members have really valued the opportunity to improve their family’s lives.
By saving their own money each week, most groups have also been able to start several income generating projects this year.

“I am so pleased to see that they have personally saved enough money over the years to invest in a long-term land lease, hopefully this will be a great source of income for them. It’s lovely to hear their news and know my support is really making a difference.”

Over 30 groups to go
There’s still women’s groups in the Bogra area who need sponsors. This is the area our UK team will be visiting in November. Your support can help a group of disadvantaged women to develop vital skills, understanding and knowledge. So if you’re not sponsoring yet please consider whether you can help a group of women to escape from poverty.

Thanks for your continued support.
With kind regards,
