Make 2010 a year to remember: change lives forever
As women we can sometimes struggle to see our true value and potential, but just imagine how we would feel living in a male dominated country like Bangladesh. Where many girls are married young and denied the opportunity to change their future and provide for their malnourished children. How would we feel if we were constantly overlooked and shut away like slaves?
In 2010 we have got an amazing opportunity to support thousands of devalued and oppressed women across the floodplains of Bangladesh. We are partnering with Women of Action to provide learning opportunities and support groups which will help previously overlooked women to restore their dignity and transform all areas of their lives. From learning how to protect their children’s health to developing skills to set up their own small businesses, we can empower groups of struggling women to discover their potential and lift themselves out of poverty.
