Equip women to care for new mums and babies in their community
Becoming a new mum is a special time, but expectant child brides in Bangladesh are often daunted by risk, uncertainty and fear. In many areas there is no health care or accurate knowledge about pregnancy so young mothers often eat last and least. Neglected and isolated, girls lack strength for child birth and many do not survive.
Protect vulnerable expectant mothers by teaching local birth attendants about nutrition, childbirth and life-saving health and hygiene practices. Give new mums the guidance and support they need as they anticipate the arrival of their new baby.
You will receive a card sharing the difference your support has made. This card can be personally dedicated to your own Mum or someone special in your life.
